World Vision Project 2014

Each year at Christmas time, the grade 5 to 12 classes take on a project to raise money for World Vision.  The students are encouraged to think about what  resources they themselves have to raise money for the project and then they are to set a personal goal.  As a class, we add together all of the personal goals to create a class goal, and, as a class, we work together to reach our goal.

The money raised this year came from sledding parties, cookie and bake sales, shoveling driveways, piggy banks, birthday money, art sales, savings accounts, parents matching money raised, and family donations.

Our goal in 5G was to raise $800.00 to purchase gifts from the World Vision Gift Catalogue.  We are excited to report that we not only reached our goal, but we exceeded it by

160%

putting us at a grand total of:

$1281.64!

Well done 5G!  What compassionate hearts you have shown!
