First Nations Masks

The First Nations created masks for many different purposes.  One of those purposes was to tell stories. 5G has created animal storytelling masks in the likeness of our First Nations artists using 2L plastic milk jugs, plasticine and some natural elements.  You can view the collection in our school library.  Take a look at the use of colour, shape, line and symmetry.
